What we call toolboxes are grassroots projects co-designed to tackle specific social and ecological challenges identified by community members. Leveraging the power of play, science, and stewardship, we coordinate our surfing, storytelling, and mindfulness workshops step-by-step. Our goal is to enable young people with the moral courage, interpersonal and creative skills to examine issues and advocate solutions, supported by a local team and multilateral partners who can assist with implementing these community-driven solutions.

TOOLBOXES

These projects are co-designed with local fishing communities to address some of their greatest social and ecological challenges. These are long-term and youth-driven programs that center our water sports classes, audiovisual storytelling workshops, and mindfulness trainings on tackling one core issue local stakeholders fear jeopardizes their security and sustainable futures. We launched our first toolbox project in 2018.
