Surfing in Morocco is no longer reserved for foreigners or wealthy expats. One local surf school outside Casablanca is paving the way for local youth from the lower-income communities situated on the outskirts of the wealthy seaside neighborhoods, to ride waves and build a relationship with themselves, peers, and their natural environment. We joined our friends at Mouja Surf School for a day at the local beach that brought kids from across socio-economic spheres to play in the waves.
