We teamed up with our friends at Super Cape-Abilities to launch a series of superhero workshops along Southern India's Arabian coast. The workshops took 20 students from Sebastian Indian Social Project's second-chance education center in Kerala and 11 local young groms from the Shaka Surf Club in Karnataka on a journey to connect with their inner superheroes. Through yoga and a guided meditation, participants reflected on what they considered their abilities and how they could use their powers for good. Imagining themselves flying above their villages, this sensory exercise channeled some relief from the daily stressors kids felt dragged them down. Each participants devised their own superhero name and designed their own cape.
